The Beauty of the Beatitudes
Theme: The beatitudes show us the beauty of the Kingdom and the benefits of living God’s way.

NICENESS VS. MEEKNESS
Theme: There’s a big difference between niceness and meekness.
Text: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” (Matthew 3:3-5).
The Paradox of Happiness
Text: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 5:3).
Theme: Happiness is the hallmark of heaven’s children.
The Constitution of the Kingdom
Theme: The Sermon on the Mount is the constitution of God’s Kingdom.
Text: “Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them…You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matt. 5:1-2, 14).
He's Still A Carpenter
Theme: Jesus is still a carpenter and he builds to last.
Text: “Isn’t this the carpenter?” (Mark 6:3a).
The Flesh Vs. The Spirit
Theme: There are two ways to live: one is in the flesh and the other is in the Spirit.
It Takes a Family
Theme: Live in grace. Operate in grace.
Text: “From him [Christ] the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work” (Eph. 4:16).
Eyes of Expectancy
Theme: Live in expectancy. Live in hope.
Text: “Behold, Yahweh’s eyes focus on those who revere him, who expectantly wait for his kind, loyal and unfailing love” (Ps. 33:18, IT).
Keep Centered
Theme: Keep centered on Jesus and his love.
Text: “Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary” (Gal. 6:9, NASB).
Stay on the Way
Theme: Stay on God’s way and be careful of the temptations that pull you off course.
Text: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matt. 7:13-14).
